    Kinda looks like a bunch of losers coping with failing at war and violence (which tragically for them was all they cared about or loved) by playing with a toy tank that was itself a useless vision of near satire like levels of masculinity because it was too big, expensive and unmanueverable to be of any use even if these fascists weren’t doomed to lose the war by that point anyways :)

    Same shit as the Bismark battleship that was useless to Nazi Germany because they put all their eggs in one basket in a show of manliness and supremacy and it just made a massive target that was existentially vulnerable to basically any kind of attack. You don’t need to be a navy admiral to understand the size of blindspot the male chauvinism and blind worship of raw strength created here, it was as big as the entire surface of the atlantic to the Nazis in WW2…

    Contrary to popular belief, fascists aren’t very good war fighters… they can learn perfectly well how to fight wars effectively but their fascism inveitably leads them to abandoning that knowledge in favor of fighting in ways that are stupid as hell because those tactics embody the “might makes right” philosophy fascists obsessively worship.

    One very obvious example is the U.S. military arbitrarily excluding warfighters because of their gender identity, which is pathetic and points to a complete lack of seriousness about creating a force fit to fight because it introduces judgements of soldiers that have NOTHING to do with their capacity to do their job.

    The anti-intellectualism of fascism is a cancer to all of society, including the capacity of that society to fight wars and defend itself.

    Remember this when centrists in your society start to fold to the fearmongering put out by rightwing warhawks who claim their ideology is the only way to be realistic about threats and keep your country safe. They don’t understand SHIT about keeping you safe or warfighting, they just like the aesthetics of violence and power and want to associate with it without bothering to understand even very obvious basics about how to use tools of war to accomplish objectives.
